We’re into the final countdown for marketers and universities. The approaching GDPR legislation implementation on the 25th May. Here at Natives Global Consulting, and across Natives Group, we’ve been a leading resource for the education sector – from primary research in our GDPR Compliance Confidence Survey, through to webinars, whitepapers, blogs and keynote presentations.
We are committed to ensuring that any personal data held by us is not only used responsibly but is also safe and secure in our hands.
With just over three weeks to go (at the time of writing), we thought we’d give you a quick round-up of all the top resources that we have published, as well as our call-to-arms on the positive impact we hope every marketing department will take in a post-GDPR world.
And don’t miss our webinar on the 18th May, held jointly with our friends at Student Hut. We’ll lift the lid on how students are feeling about GDPR and their expectations of youth brands (yes, including universities) and the accountability they’ll hold you to process and control their personally identifiable data ethically.
So in case you missed it:
- Take the GDPR Compliance Confidence Survey and find out how confident you are, benchmarked against colleagues in the education sector
- Webinar on demand: Seven top tips for nurturing long-term leads through to conversion
- Webinar on demand: Marketers, are you ready for GDPR?
- Blog: How are you feeling about GDPR?
- Blog: Data protection laws are changing, are you ready?
- Blog: Why hashing should be important to you
There is no doubt that GDPR represents a challenge for all marketers, universities, colleges and institutions. But also we hope, like us, you see GDPR as an opportunity. GDPR legislation will have a (we believe) net-positive impact on education marketing. As a rule, you’ve genuinely got value to add, something interesting to say, sell or change. And the huge amount of content noise that the youth market is subjected to is about to go down. And trust in those operating ethically will go up. That means your content will talk to people who want to be talked to and your marketing will be received by those who want to receive it.
If you would like to speak to our experts about how to collect and nurture prospective students in an ethical and GDPR compliant way, get in touch.
